- Diagnostic Summary: Retrieved trouble code P0014 – Exhaust Camshaft Position Timing Over-Advanced (Bank 1). (Review picture taken) Inspected and removed VVT solenoid, found excessive bearing material and metal shavings present in the oil system. Do to evidence would indicate internal engine wear and possible bearing failure. Recommendation: Due to contamination of the oil system and probable internal damage, recommend complete engine replacement (assembly). Include all necessary gaskets, seals, fluids, and filters with engine installation. Perform system flush and inspection of oil cooler and lines prior to installation We do not do internal engine repairs or full replacements Advised customer to seek the dealership for possible extended coverage, Also advised to no drive vehicle to next facility
